AHH I am so happy. We are going in late July and are familiar with late summer vacations (hello fellow educators on summer break ). The idea of doing food and wine or waiting in outdoor queues with masks in summer heat sounded miserable, but I would have done it to get my Disney fix. He is really not beating around the bush with this quote!

I’m right there with you! Fellow educator here! I’m really starting to get excited about our August trip.

Again stuff investors love to hear but as an AP, ouch. Translation - enough APs are just taking up space in the parks and not spending and COVID gave us a chance to correct that.

Exactly how it’s felt and apparently will continue to feel. At least we got 3 months in after we moved before the reason we moved told us they don’t want us.

Disapointing there is no fireworks news but at least there will be good news on the mask front and with a further increase in the parks along with the cutting in social distancing it will be very likely fireworks will return.

ED92 announced that Disneyland Paris will present their reopening plans on May 17th at 11 Paris time to their employees and to the public in the afternoon.
At the moment the instructions from the government are:
Per 19 May: Open without rides = Be a park.
Per 9 June: 5.000 people a day + proof vaccination / negative test
Per 19 June: Reopen like normal + proof vaccination / negative test

I think for Paris that is less bad than if this was a requirement for Magic Kingdom or Disneyland. Disneyland Paris is very beautiful, spacious and can be used as a park to stroll through. (ok, I personally wouldn't do it, but if you live next door, I can see people go for it). They can have outdoor dining as of the 19th of May.

My AP expires end of June and I’m trying to find a reason to renew...I spoke to a CM last week and she said there should be an AP discount coming soon but I don’t see much resort available for Sept right now so not sure what good an AP discount would be for the next several months.

Hopefully, more resorts will start to open up this summer, or at least be given opening dates, and create availability.
