He is soooo lucky! My niece applied a ton of times over the course of 2 years. She finally got in 2020 and was sent home 3 weeks later. Thankfully she just found out she’ll be returning June 28 with her same friends/roommates as before.
Good luck to him!

I'm so glad she got to go back. It was so sad when they were all sent home with little time to plan.

Flight of Passage Update: At the beginning of the day they weren’t loading every car, but by the end of the night they were loading every car. I’m not sure if this is something they were just experimenting with or if this is their new procedure going forward.

…and that’s it for my unauthorized Disney blogger updates from Animal Kingdom. I probably won’t be back there until September. My remaining park passes are at the other parks.

Happy Sunday! I fly out tomorrow and am I nervous wreck! It’s only my third flight in 45 years, and will be my 14 and 21 year olds’ first. Just have to say thanks so much for all the reporting here, as it helps my “I need to know everything in advance mentality” sooo much! Despite many previous trips, and my oldest being there for months on the college program 2 years ago, we feel like “newbies” trying to plan and prepare for this trip!

That’s definitely added to the anxiety, as taking extra clothes, fans, UV umbrella, cooling towels and figuring out water delivery all got added to my to do list this week. But I appreciate the heads up.

The distancing stickers into the Mexican pavilion are now gone.



They’re also working on the Epcot Stargate this morning. While I’ve been here they usually wait until the evening.

Have the plexiglass been removed from Frozen and Millennium / Rote rides?

As far as I know they’re still there. I’m in the line for Frozen, so I’ll let you know if that changes. They were definitely still on Navi and the Safari when I rode them yesterday.
