I doubt it. Removing him would only cause additional anger. They’ll add Biden soon enough and then he won’t be more than a name in the show. Disney prefers to avoid controversy when possible. I’d bet what will happen is a move away from the sitting president having any sizable role.

The HoP is the HoP, take the good with the bad. There's great presidents and probably presidents there that were not that great but whose actions have dimmed over time. I can only say time heals all wounds.

What number was the president when you were born? Mine is {gulp} 34.

People expect him in there now. If they remove any president, then people will want others gone as well. They’d be better off removing the entire show if they go that route.

For the last two changes, it closed prior to inauguration. Halloween 2008 and January 17, 2016.

Hope WDW has the money and planned for it. Of course having an attraction down at MK for the next 6 months or so isn't the greatest timing to go along with any planned capacity increases.

This is what I’d like them to do. Have Lincoln or Washington or one of the other presidents speak. They wouldn’t have to change so much with future administrations either.

Well, prior to Clinton the presidents were just added as a nodding/waving animatronic and not a speech giving one. Lincoln gave the only speech prior to 1993. Then they started the tradition of having the sitting president give a speech as well. It’s more of an issue with the speeches being given. I could totally see them either shutting down as @rteetz said or reverting back to just having Lincoln speak.

Yeah, I think they may rethink the show altogether. People haven't been able to contain theiir "Boos" for a while anyway. They can still ahve every president, but skip the roll call and only let certain ones speak, like Lincoln.

I’m sure there’s been boos since they started with Clinton. I can totally see WDW taking the easy way out. I predict whether talking or not, there will still be boos. I pray for a day when that is not the case.

Oddly enough when I saw HoP back in June 2019, I didn't hear or notice any boos. Maybe it was an apolitical crowd for the most part? Or maybe nobody cared because they all just wanted a break from the Florida heat/humidity.

I am honestly surprised they have had the theater attractions like this and Country Bears open during the Covid restrictions.

I was there spring of 2018 and didn't hear any. I would imagine the watergate years might have been full of them. In the current era of speaking presidents I'm sure you get some now and then no matter who is president.

these are the same people that loudly recite along to pre-shows ruining it for everyone else. They use flash on dark rides too.
