News Round Up 2020

Not a huge difference I guess....just the little shopping bag icon. Thanks for the photos....
Yeah, just font and colors, but I think for a certain group of people who vacationed there as kids between 1982 and 1994, the little bits scattered around Epcot of the Epcot of their Childhood triggered warm memories. Very, very few of them left unadulterated now.

Hey I still remember the huge controversy over the Mickey hand and wand for the Millennium.... and I really liked that.... but, I guess all things must pass.. That's why we take so many photos I guess. :)

I think the fact the new signage and much of the entrance work has that feel of the original EPCOT is making it easier to deal with, at least speaking for myself.

Yeah, I like the new signage. It managed to update the look while keeping much of the same feel.

I only went once in the Communicore days and my memories of it are pretty fuzzy (I was in elementary school); I love the retro look as well and I'm glad to see them bringing in icons again, even if some of them (like the one on the Gateway Gifts sign) are a little questionable.

Once COVID is done I can't see the park reservation system actually keeping people from reserving a park even if they show up at lunch time. Only on those ultra busy days like Christmas and New Years would reservations actually be "full" They could definitely make you "reserve" to figure out crowd levels tho. Turning away guests that will spend money in your parks wouldn't be the best business decision.

I just want to PARK HOP!!!:figment:

Disney is addicted to data and they are not giving this up. They will be better able to predict operational costs and adjust Cams needed per day and scale properly for guest experience.

My thought went to the people who already complained at how much pre-planning Disney requires...
