I agree @Gusey, I hadn’t considered either that the price could differ between countries.
Canadian price is $34.99. That is less than the US price if we were to purchase in US $ and convert it.

Yeah. It's a little odd. I'd say they were going for rounding to 5s (less a penny essentially) below the $30 U.S. rate, which works for Canadian Dollars and British Pounds, but then you have 21.99 Euros which throws it off. They could have crept closer to $30 U.S. across the board if they wanted to, but they clearly wanted to go below the equivalent and then just didn't bother to get closer than $5 U.S. Currencies take a lot to move 18%, so being within $5 on a $30 item isn't really all that close. Surprised they didn't bother to go 21.99 GBP, 23.99 EUR, and 38.99 CAD. Seems like it would have been more equitable. It's not like anyone is paying cash and needs exact change...

Usually select items do but not everything. I’d imagine that will remain the same at least for a while.

usually some of it makes it online at some point. I must say that not much flower and garden made it online this year, besides the purses.

The net UK/EU prices are significantly lower than those figures anyway since VAT is included in the prices. I suspect Disney simply arrived at these numbers the old fashioned way: "what will the market bear?"
