The decision came in the last 24-48 hours apparently. So it makes sense that work continued until it didn't.

Wow, this is an excellent movie, one of my favorites, but I would never had thought about it as a musical.... I guess if "Hamilton" works, anything is possible....

I like this movie, I have it on DVD and watch it when it's on tv if there's nothing else on. I like musicals but I can't see this translating well to a musical outside of where there's already music in the movie. They going to have a big musical number in the control room before countdown? It's just weird.

Musicals really aren't my thing, but I really don't get this movie as a basis of one. I'd think it'd be hard to do without coming off corny, and this is pretty serious subject so I don't really think corny would work. But, the people working on it know a lot more than I do on the subject.

I had thought the same about The Color Purple - I couldn't imagine it translating well to a musical format. Boy did I eat my words, that show is beautiful and the music is amazing. Not all musicals are corny, there are some that tackle pretty deep subjects and the music complements the story rather than taking away from it.

Looks like it was at the International Gateway entrance what h has the new scanners so good example of that they work
