It seems you can have 2 active VQ reservations at once. Usually the express pass supersedes the VQ. When I last went in 2018 we had express pass from staying at RPR and for Fallon there was a separate express pass entrance that did not require a VQ return time.
At universal the EP is limited each day. It’s included with stays at 3 of the hotels and then is an upcharge add on after that and they can and do limit how many are sold on a given day. You have to tell them the days you plan to use it on when you purchase EP.
That made me think of something. If Disney is ditching FP and using the FP queue for "more queue space" I guess that indicates that Disney WILL NOT be doing any virtual lines since they want all that extra space?
My guess is that if they do VQ it’s going to be like ROTR where the fp line gets used solely for das.
also if they're doing VQ they wouldn't need FP at all. I think VQ is the fairest way to do things. That way you can eliminate the DAS too. Fair and square.
DAS is still needed if day there is a spaced out 20 min wait once it becomes your turn. It will likely be an ROTR situation where the DAS goes through the fp queue when you are called to return.
I thought I had seen posted somewhere on the DIS that FP lines were going to be used as additional space for regular queue lines to ensure social distancing, but I'll be darned if I can find where I saw it.
I believe it’s suppose to have inversions like hulk.
I care about virtual queues
Looking at the footprint it will probably be a ride too intense for me but it really would with inversions! My husband will likely love it though. I believe his fav ride (or close to it) at Universal is Hulk.
I can't wait for this to be built. I'm looking forward to getting back to Universal once this opens.
