News Round Up 2020

steel deliveries for the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway project.
I'm surprised they are still receiving steel for the Runaway Railway Project, It seems like everything we've been seeing recently put into it being further along than that.

For Disneyland? Definitely aren’t very far along. It’s not supposed to open until 2022 there.

And given the rest of the line up is animated films, why even have Marvel? If I had to pick, I would have gone with Wreck-it Ralph, for the male audience. But regardless, I’m excited they are bringing it back for a few weeks!

I guess they have Big Hero 6 for the "action/adventure animated movie" ... and I have no issue with Live Action (Live action was always a part of the classing Wonderful World of Disney): but I agree, why even have Marvel, and if you are going to have Marvel, why not like the Avengers, or even just the first Thor movie if you want to push/introduce those characters?

Thinking more broadly, I think this would be a great opportunity for them to put on something like Tomorrowland or Wrinkle in Time - a live action that didn't do huge numbers at the box office but that i bet a lot of people would be willing to give a shot at watching from home for no extra cost

The temporary closures of Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea have been extended in response to the state of infections of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as requests from the government and local municipalities.

The reopening of the Parks was to be decided in mid-May; however, based on the extension of the state of emergency declaration, hereafter, the decision on the reopening date will be made and announced once the requests from Government and local municipalities have been lifted.

Additionally, the opening date for the Tokyo Disneyland major expansion area will be determined once the situation can be gauged after reopening both parks.

Is there any talk of the old WWofD episodes being put on D+? There's years and years of great content there.
