News Round Up 2020

I have a resort package on site for July 7-14. I wanted to modify to change dates to when all parks are open, but Disney will not at this time allow me to make changes. I was hoping that the previews would include resort guests because of this inconvenience, but it doesn't look like it.

By the time Disney lets me change my dates, there won't be any park reservations left.

Are you staying offsite? If you're onsite you can make up to 14.
Off-site. Also have an out of state AP. How many out of state APs are going to travel there for just 3 days.

I know Disney still thinks they are invincible, but treating your most loyal customers like crap isn't a good business decision. Just like Royal Caribbean sitting on my suite refund for over 100 days. My diamond benefits aren't going to make me forget they used me as an interest free credit card, they have created lasting ill will. Disney is doing the same with their APs.

Not sure if I missed it in the announcement of not, but will the park reservations be like dining reservation (180 days prior) and Fastpass (60 days), as in they can be booked a certain amount of time before arrival? I saw on the DIS article that the reservations will open at 7AM daily, but not how far before arrival, and some people are thinking they'd have to get a reservation for Sep 2021 when the system launches next week :)

🤷🏼‍♂️

Any idea what time on the 22nd the reservations will be open? My trip is not until November, but if I can't get the parks I want I'll cancel so going to try for first day booking. Working from home, so I can sit in a digital queue as long as needed, lol.
