News Round Up 2020

I picked up a map with this info on it, and it just leaves me scratching my head as to how exactly guests are supposed to get anywhere. Instead of a map of the closures I'd like to see a map of the detours. I thought about going to try and watch at one of the parks, but I'm not entirely sure how to do that. It sounds like spectator viewing is ONLY at MK. Is that right?

I'm not participating but I was curious about this and found something from last year:

I don't know if they've changed the route then but maybe it's still useful.

little surprised but this as it seems like they would make more $ if they kept it open ... or are food places not really used (as much) during EMHs?
I think the theory is that if you're hungry, you'll find a place to eat. They only need as many places open as they can keep a line at.

It’s always been interesting to me how much of an enigma HKDL is compared to the rest of the resorts. Especially with Shanghai now the focus for the Chinese market
Disney is currently working on an expansion to HKDL.

The race begins at 5AM. As runners pass the roadways reopen once its cleared and cleaned up.

MK is not the only viewing spot ALL four parks have viewing as well as the Boardwalk. DHS has very limited viewing though. AK will some of the most viewing as well as Epcot. MK will have viewing on Main Street but some sections are reserved for those who buy Cheer Squad.

Just curious - did you watch streaming on your TV or through a browser on the computer?
TV/Roku at home

Got the advertisement on here (Dis Board) at work

Only thing that connects those two things are my email address

Man, I am in marketing and what I have seen...I promise that is not the only thing that connects you.

Your Roku tracked an anonymous individual watching that movie. Some big data service then linked your Roku’s IP address with the cell phone that is always on that same network, then any one of a hundred things could connect your cell phone to your work computer. Then PETA had paid someone for an ad for any individuals who watched that movie. That someone paid (probably) Google who paid the big data provider for a list of anonymous people who watched that movie and showed them the ad on whatever site the ad network (again probably Google or an affiliate) had a relationship with.

None of these parties know who you are per se, but they know they are serving an ad to a person who watched that movie yesterday.

At least when it works. Everyone in your household probably got the same ad on some website or another today.

I think Mickey dressed up as a Jedi should be a walk around character in SW:GE. Discuss.🤣
Please start a separate thread with this, not a discussion here. I know you're being funny but people will take you seriously and finding the actual news will become hard to find.

Have to admit we ate at Planet Hollywood during our Nov 2019 trip and it was a lot better than I thought it would be. Still wish we had a chance to eat at Chicken Guy too though... as I have a weakness for chicken tenders!

I thought Chicken Guy was pretty good and like the variety of the sauces. It's not like :"life changing" or anything but is a nice option in Disney Springs if you want something decent for a decent price

There definitely was a lack of inside seating (good about outside though - but obviously not ideal when raigin or when 110 degrees out) so glad to see about this exapnsion
