Interesting I thought she didn't want to do a second one.

Thats not my screenshot so not my provider.I was just teasing you about your wireless service provider![]()
Not to put the thread off topic, but what's wrong with cricket? I've had them for 4years now, 45$ mo for 6gbs of data and runs off ATT network. Cleverly work that in with apples iPhone upgrade program and you get a new phone every year for an extra 25$ish a month. Still less overall than ATT or Verizon.I was just teasing you about your wireless service provider![]()
Just curious, what time would they need to stop running the attractions if everyone is meant to be out of the park by 5?

That I can understand. It is good for solo accounts but somewhat impractical for larger group plans
Just wanted to mention that the hurricane latest track has it getting pretty close to Orlando. I keep updating the hurricane thread with updates. Rumors are that Disney is seriously considering parks closing on Friday. No early hours for sure. No word on anything universal is doing. Seaworld, legoland, and the space center are closing on Friday for sure some on Thursday. Anyone in Florida stay safe, take cover, and hope for the best.
What's left at this point? Fantasia? Snow White? Anything else?
Good question. Obviously no work will be taking place during the storms. I would imagine Food and Wine booths are able to withstand weather events, to what capacity I don't know. The plywood walls are held up by cinder block and sand bags, they should be okay but I am sure most guests won't be in the parks if they are even open. A park closure decision is said to be made by tomorrow morning.
Boy do I remember that drive (eastern pa in my past) It was bad with out a hurricane....Thanks, @skier_pete. We will be taking 75 from Ohio to FL, so hopefully we'll be okay, but we definitely won't do anything stupid.![]()
Wasn't functioning as of Friday (9/30) when we rode, but they were handing out paper FPs at the end of the ride to compensate.
HHN at Universal keeps people moving too, probably at a much higher volume than the Star Trek thing for that matter. But it's apples and oranges compared to a mega E Ticket at WDW. Consider accessibility, small children, people who can get up to load into a vehicle but need an ECV or wheelchair to travel any distance. It's not impossible to keep crowds moving through a walk-through type attraction, but if you add into the equation multiple loading and unloading of ride vehicles it would be an absolute nightmare in terms of timing. Bottlenecks would be inevitable, keeping guests in show areas for indeterminate amounts of time.
As with most things, the devil is in the details.
It would be easy to have a separate loading/unloading area for ECV/wheelchair guests. If Toy Story Mania can have one with a track, a trackless system certainly could handle it. Then, you just sent those guests with the next group that arrives. And, maybe small children should be on an attraction where "visitors will find themselves in the middle of a tense battle between stormtroopers and Resistance fighters".
I'm also not sure that bottlenecks would be inevitable. Simply have 2 or more identical rooms/paths for the middle walking section. Each would end in a loading station for a second trackless vehicle.
Whether it would work depends on so many things...pretty much all of which are things unknown to any of us. Just because something has never been done on a large-scale doesn't automatically make it impossible.

It wasn't working when we were there 9/10-9/18. We rode 3 times and were never given anything (not that I expected anything at the time).
We had taken it earlier in the week as well, and it wasn't working - but there were no FPs. I'm wondering if 9/30 was just a complaint-heavy day.![]()
We rode it 3 times during a 2 week period in September, and we didn't receive paper FP's either. The camera didn't work at all.We had taken it earlier in the week as well, and it wasn't working - but there were no FPs. I'm wondering if 9/30 was just a complaint-heavy day.![]()
