Yes it would be probably be more accurate to say the plans may have been scaled back from what they originally were. Still if we're just judging on quantity of rides it sounds like there will be plenty to do.

Speaking of universal I saw some new rumors regarding their Nintendo land that should be coming up sooner or later. 4-5 Nintendo based attractions with one major e ticket that is going to give the major Star Wars E a run for its money. Then a solid D ticket to back it up along with 2-3 b/c attractions.

Do they even have that much land available in Toon Lagoon? It would make sense if they decide to develop their recently purchased piece of land. Otherwise I don't think 5 attractions is doable. Unless Toon Lagoon is on the chopping block and they re-theme the existing rides.

My guess is toon lagoon would be gone.

For that number of rides I'd think they would have to, and it's not like they've got anything particularly memorable there anyway.

Dudley do rights is decent. The Popeye barges were better than Kali but it's not saying much

That observation was made a few months ago by someone. I didn't really notice a different in January but whatever.

Sorry if this has been noted, but I've seen some speculating that the River of Light will be limited viewing access. Based on the response to comment # 8 on that page:

Oh.. uhoh. I never thought about the magic bands being made of latex. DD is allergic. Guess I'll be googling now.
Edit: Of course they're not latex, Paige, it's Disney and latex allergies are common. ha.

As soon as I googled it I realized Disney wouldn't use such a common allergy material.

I've lurked through way too many threads about it, but saw at least someone talking about how they didn't think there were enough seats for everyone to view so maybe it was limited access. Perhaps the seated area will be FP/Dinner package only, though, or they were just wrong. The thread I saw may have even been speculation from a year ago. I've read so much Disney in the past week my head is spinning.

Symphony in the Stars got canceled tonight due to "technical difficulties".

A lot of people were pretty upset because they just announced it over the speakers at a couple minutes past 8:00 (when it was supposed to start) and told everyone to have a good night.

It will likely be like WoC or Fantasmic (returning soon to a River of America near you) at Disneyland, in which you get a FP or return time to enter into the show audience. This will either be done in Park or using one of your FP+ pre-booked selections. This controls crowd flow and allows you to have a reserved spot for one of the multiple shows that will be shown daily.

So your admission will automatically cover your opportunity to see the show, but it's up to you to reserve it. The best comparison in Orlando are the Wishes or Parade viewing areas. Only in this case you'll have to have them reserved to view the show. A little more planning, but it makes things painless in the evening.
