True but Lion King and Nemo dont have animal acting like humans. In both of those movies they are still animals acting like animals. Zootopia is animals acting like people. For example a rabbit is a traffic cop and a sloth works at the animal version of the DMV (Which I think is hilarious).Along with Lion King, and the talking fish in Nemo. I think talking critters is safe for AK.
 In a whole area that embraces fantasy, I can live with those differences.True but Lion King and Nemo dont have animal acting like humans. I don't believe much Jim Hill says, but I can't discount that he has been right before. I come here to reports news and rumors. Jim Hill falls in the rumors category which is why I continue to report what he says.
Don't get tied up in that semantics about "themepark"...
In the 1950's amusement parks had been in neglect for 20 years and there was a stark contrast.
Not nearly as big a difference now.
Monorail Orange now offline on the Walt Disney World Monorail System. Spotted working under the ZooTopia Monorail System
Jim Hil musings on Animal Kingdom
Disney is looking at possibly bringing Zootopia into this park if the movie does well. (Conservation station area)
Rivers of light will seat around 6000. Disney is undecided whether they will run Everest during the show. It's also possible the show may not run every night.
Lion Guard Adventure starts at AK this weekend

Disney has reduced water park hours for summer 2016 to 10AM to 7PM. Originally it was 9AM to 8PM.

It will be a shame if they close down EE during the show. Riding EE at night is such a different experience than during the day. It would be really popular, I think, and possibly help with the crowd levels for the show
I think the concern is the that the noise of the shrieking thrill seekers might distract from the show..
Oh I understand the concern...they shut down CA Screamin for much the same reason during WOC. If they run it like Fantasmic, though, with multiple shows before park close, I don't see how they open EE in between shows...EE would likely just close very early, which would make it harder to ride at night. If they do as skier_pete suggested, though, and run it like they run Illuminations where ROL is at park close, that would be a better option.I think the concern is the that the noise of the shrieking thrill seekers might distract from the show.
There's a lot of operational unknowns here though including the exact length of the show; how many times a night it would run and what the extended park hours would be.
And likely it is hard to judge the noise levels accurately until the show runs.
It's because of the screams distracting the show. You will still be able to ride EE at night but just not during the show.It will be a shame if they close down EE during the show. Probably will be extended if seen as popular."...through the end of March 2016." Is it me or does that seem really short?

Mickey, Minnie, Donald etc meet or have met in AK. Not much difference between them and Zootopia.
