Not as enthusiastic about this list as I was about some of the entries on F&W Concert series last year.
You know - we're picking on the walls - but really - it means stuff is happening. In fact - LOTS of stuff is happening - with more to come, and this is all good for the future. Not so great for the present of course, but having Disney realize that the future is important too was an important step. Too many years of "just keep everything open" has left them with 3 parks that need work. With the stuff going on at AK in a year that will be down to two, and then after
Yep. It's been said that we might not even see Toy Story construction until it's closer to completion and they need to create the entrance because the majority of the land is back stage.Actually, the walls might not be as obtrusive in DHS as elsewhere. They are closing off large portions of the park, but that won't result in walking along walled off areas. The biggest issue will probably around Muppetvision, but the rest of it won't. Even Toy Story Land I think there's a good chance they will work on it from behind and then just close off the areas that are on-stage when the project is done.

It's old news. They did reveal a day or so ago how much they paid though. There is no doubt this is for a 3rd park.Did all see the confirmed news that Comcast bought 475 acres next to USO. Thinking 3rd park? Comcast said bought with the thought of the long term. No idea of how long that is. Hmmm. They really do want to compete in the amusement park game.
I still think there is a big difference. Disney is 10x better than six flags in my opinion.Don't get tied up in that semantics about "themepark"...
In the 1950's amusement parks had been in neglect for 20 years and there was a stark contrast.
Not nearly as big a difference now.
