They'd have to really need that space for something, and I don't think they do. It's an attraction that IS a line. No real ride mechanism to break. Just needs touch up paint every now and again.

Precisely. It is a low cost, small footprint, guest traffic absorption tool. They would be hard pressed to find a more valuable use of that real estate.

They might include crane sight lines but I am not sure. They definitely do have balloons for building sight lines.

I have been watching this and this may or may not actually be related to DHS construction. There is speculation that it could be something else. Problem is that area is very small for something that tall.

Something else... it would make no sense to have height test balloons at Fantasia Gardens to test the sight lines for something at Hollywood studios. You would float the balloons in the area where you have the question, and then check the sight lines from the locations you are concerned about in terms of viewing. If you see the balloon, then you know its an impact.

Not a chance. The hat was literally intentionally cut into jagged pieces and scrapped. They didnt want anyone trying to rebuild it.
