I like the journey one as well. I'm not so sure why someone would want a preview center shirt. I feel like there are better vintage things they could've done.

I actually really like that they have the preview center one - fairly important part of the history of Walt Disney World (the workers there were technically the first people cast members specifically to work for Walt Disney World) - and it is something different ... though I get it likely doesn't have a broad appeal

The original Journey Into Your Imagination was a classic ride. It was probably my favorite ride in all of Epcot at the time. I am just amazed how much they changed for version 2.0. It was so disappointing seeing it without Figment. I am still questionable on why they are brining Dreamfinder and Figment to Tomorrowland. Why not just have them meet up at Epcot? I mean Epcot already has limited attractions to see. They can easily make a meet and greet in the Innoventions area. Or somewhere in the Imagination pavilion. One thing I wish they would bring back to Epcot are the space suit versions of the Fab Five. The first version of the Fab Five I met at Disney were them in their space outfits.

Boo to you parade this year the candy unit will be themed to Wreck it Ralph, including Goofy being moved to the opening and somebody else driving the candy machine(I'm assuming Vanellope) and a new ground unit.

That sounds fascinating. I wish Disney wasn't afraid to show off the tech they are testing like they used to do during The Wonderful World of Disney. Or just the things they are working on in general. They didn't care about competition back then because they were always moving forward with new ideas. As soon as they finished a project they started on something new...something innovative. I'd love to be able to see the process in real time. Always love looking at the models in the One Man's Dream building.

Yep, Walt was never afraid of showing off the "magic" on his show and was rightly proud of the innovations his imagineers came up with.

I'm one who enjoys seeing the behind-the-scenes secrets as it makes me even more amazed at how they could come up first with the idea and two, how to make it work.

Seems likely. The pirate ship segment of the show is very popular, so using a different property (one that generates more money these days) while keeping the wow factor of the segment (the ship) sounds like an obvious choice for a change. I'd love to see a couple of new floats though. Keep it classic but feeling fresh.

I've never noticed the hand gesture in RnRc and we've been riding it yearly, sometimes twice yearly since 2006. Also, had NO clue it was an offensive hand gesture?! Down here, it's a gang sign for "Eastside Boys." haha. Learn something on this Disney Board EVERYDAY!!

WDWNT is reporting another Contemporary tower is in the works. I'm not so sure on this one and they say it's in design phase which means it's not extremely likely yet. Who knows if we will ever see this.

Interesting about getting rid of the convention center ... though I guess that land it probably more valuable to people really into being near the Magic Kingdom than convention goers

I thought I read at some point the land where the Persian Resort was to be build was found to not be stable enough to support a hotel - but I am sure they could overcome that

They would need to build a people mover just to get you from that site to the Contemporary & back. That would be a significant amount of extra walking I would not want to be doing at that price point.

It's not that bad, in comparison to say, Saratoga Spring to the TreeHouse Villas.

The convention center piece makes me highly skeptical of this report. I know that we, as Disney fans, like to think that the resorts are filled by people like us, but the fact is the convention business is huge for Disney and is one of the big drivers of the Contemporary's occupancy.

The spur route of the monorail does go through the side of this property-- boy would that make a mess if they tried to use it for transportation.
