News Round Up 2016

DS18 said it was abysmal- I can't believe it made that much money. No way it has staying power...

I went Saturday night with DW and DS21. We all thought it was a great movie. My friend went with his son and sons friend they all loved it. Several of my employees are raving about the movie this morning so there are lots of people who enjoyed this movie.

It's not a top 10 movie that I've ever seen, but it was a good show.

Rumor

Disney and More is reporting that MSEP cast was told today at a meeting that the parade will be retiring this fall.

This is what I saw earlier today that made me more confident that MSEP will be gone sooner then expected. But I didn't know how official 'Disney and More' is. Again, I have heard that PTN is possible to be seasonal at DLR. But, it does seem like the stars are aligning for a potential swap of night time parades. Just a thought, not saying it is happening. It may not happen for the 45th anniversary. It may not get switched until January with the combo of Halloween and Christmas parties. It just seems possible to happen.

Retiring permanently, if so I'll be kinda sad. What I hope they do is put it in proper storage, fix it up and bring it out on special events, such as 4th July, thanksgiving etc. But now I feel there will be a blank spot in the entertainment. Even of they run FoF at night, it dosn't feel complete because I come to the park at night to soak up the atmosphere and the nighttime shows and I see a parade I have already seen in the day, even if it may look cooler at night.

Still hoping for a new one soon, but probably won't be until the 50th.

I think your locals of DLR will be sad about losing PTN but I think they would not be upset about MSEP coming back.

I know WDW wants paint the night but Disneyland doesn't want to give it up and rightLay so. I'd much rather see a brand new parade than paint the night.

I might be biased just based on how much I love Paint the Night (just think the mix of technology and music gives it a great energy) so I would love if both parks had Pain the Night - but slightly different versions with maybe a couple of the floats being unique to each park or something
