I'm not sure I'm surprise. I know everytime we have gone (pre-FEA), the park was empty until after lunch. On top of that, I know we are very early eaters (we get up early as a family), and we always eat before the parks (unless we have a character meal). I wonder how many people really want to stop for breakfast first thing upon entering a park. I mean, doing a quick look at QS options, I don't think AK has any for breakfast (aside from your little pastry/snack places). Same with DHS. And unless I'm missing something, MK only really has Be Our Guest (which I highly doubt many if any people are stopping off at just because they want the breakfast food), and that early morning hour breakfast. Like I said, maybe I missed a QS somewhere at the parks, but looks to me like by and large no parks really offer a QS breakfast.

Agreed. As for AK, we always grab the breakfast burrito at Safari and swallow it in line.

Man that looks so good. Of course we get the mediocre new fantasy land. Really exited for the new Beauty and the Beast ride(even though I'll probaly never get to go on it). It looks to be trackless meaning it'll be Tokyo's third trackless ride and we have none.

Yep...

However we should get our first trackless ride with Star Wars.

I've read they are false as well, but who really knows. I should have put in my post that I wasn't saying the rumors were false or true, just pointing out the reason why she stated she disliked him. Gonna go edit.

I'm pretty sure Ms. Street can separate the personal (her opinion of one man) from the professional (doing busines with a major movie production corporation run by completely different people).

I don't understand why they would get rid of breakfast here. What other options are in the park for breakfast that aren't table service?

I don't know why they don't have a CS breakfast option very close to the entrance inside each park - or even something outside the gates could possibly be even more successful for the early arrivals as they wait for rope drop, and others as they are making their way in.

I don't know why they don't have a CS breakfast option very close to the entrance inside each park - or even something outside the gates could possibly be even more successful for the early arrivals as they wait for rope drop, and others as they are making their way in.

Eh, I mean if you are working that hard to get to the park at rope drop and getting in line, is the first thing you are going to do is stop and get breakfast? I think most people at the parks want a quick bagel/pastry/etc. as they move if they haven't had breakfast already at their hotel, and I'm guessing that is few and far between.

But even then something other than Starbucks should be offered. In MK I'd rather go back To Gastons and get a Cinnabon than have breakfast at Starbucks.

Hello and welcome to the all new News Round Up Thread for 2016. This is a continuation of the old thread. This thread is for sharing the smaller news stories that happen around WDW, construction updates, rumors, observations, etc.

I will keep a list of major things going on below.

4. Soarin refurb and third theater- closes Jan. 4th for Summer 2016 opening
5. Disney Springs makeover continues into late 2016
6. Toy Story Midway Mania third track set to open early 2016
7. Rivers of light- set to open spring 2016
8. Tiffins signature restuarant- set to open spring 2016
9. Nighttime Safaris- set to open spring 2016

No one knows. Consensus for now is optimistically sometime in 2019, pessimistically 2020. Disneyland is certainly outpacing DHS right now, and some think they could open a full year before Florida. I hope that's not the case.

At Epcot? Go to France for a pastry. Or there's a place over by Canada with some pastries that I can't remember. Fountain View also has a much bigger menu than a normal Starbucks if I believe (honestly don't go there, not a coffee guy). And isn't that fruit market at AK open in the morning? Couple more are in the morning too. And DHS has the Cafe. I don't know, guess I just don't see it as a big deal. I think there are options if you want a quick something as you move, and very few want something that is out of the way where you will need to sit down and spend time eating it if it's not a TS. My guess is it was not pulling in very many people for that reason.

Disneyland will most definitely open first but it's up in the air as to how big that gap will be.
