In other news...Colin treverow is talking TOO MUCH.
This ain't "Jurassic park" anymore, sonny boy!

I do agree that after 7, 8 and 9 - being the "core" story - that they then could spend some time telling some of the "between" stories. We'll see, there is plenty of stories to tell - as you say hopefully it just doesn't keep being a rehash of the same thing. (And please let's stop having to destroy the "world destroying" weapon in the climax.)
It is getting old. Lucas originally wanted to do it just once at the end of the first trilogy. But SW was untested back then and he figured the first movie needed a big finale to bring people in.
There people have too much time on their hands

Looks great but I just can't visualize where they are going to fit all the crowds who would like to see the show?Rivers of light photo update

They are going to turn large amounts of the average public off with the merchandising onslaught...they would be wise to not tiptoe the waters of a complete rollout of new merchandise for every six months.
I don't think the merch will be nearly as bad as it was for Ep 1-3. That was where Lucas made his money. He had 100% rights to all merch, which is why we saw Yoda and Vader on everything from pepsi cans to twinkies. I mean sure, Disney merchandises their movies, but not nearly to the point of saturation that Lucas pulled.

I'm totally stumped. It looks like it's less than 1/3 the size of Fantasmic's theater, although maybe that's just my misperception since I haven't seen it in person. If they often fill Fantasmic!, how will everyone ever get to see this show, even if they're doing 3 shows a night? World of Color can be no fun to get a spot, but I'm more scared of this theater.

Over heard everything from March to May I wouldn't worry too much. Disney doesn't announced dates because they don't want to get behind and then have to push that date back.I know nothing has been confirmed but I thought I heard it would open in April...now possibly May. Do most projects end up going over projected openings?? Rumors are Soarin will open in summer. I'm starting to think that will be more likely July rather than June? Wouldn't they try to open it the same time as the new Disney resort opening up? I know it's way too early but just curious....
