I wish that would happen with MSEP, I mean I like MSEP but it's really dated time for it go. Spectro was left outside to rot and it got too damaged to save so it was scrapped.

I hadn't heard that...but honestly it's probably for the best. I'm not a casual traveler...but honestly I can't imagine it was that interesting for those that were.

Would somebody book a "once in a lifetime" for a parade or fireworks? Unlikely...

But would the loyal base travel more often for "atmosphere" offerings like parades, fireworks, new dining or facility upgrades?

Yeah...I think that's more your market.

Harrison ford will reveal the name of the new Star Wars land on this Sunday's ABC Wonderful World of Disney Disneyland 60 special.

Joy and Sadness from Inside out are still supposed to be happening but the timetable it not set in stone. The removal of Aurora and Winnie the Pooh from Epcot was to make room for new character like these two. It might be April when we see them or later.

I think it looks particularly bad now when you compare it with the afternoon parade because Festival of Fantasy shows what they can do if they make an effort.

Really there ought to be a new fireworks and night time parade by the time the 50th anniversary rolls around.

Still I guarantee there will be protests when MSEP finally goes.

It will probably be something like: Disney's Journey to Star Wars: Planet Takodana Adventure. They don't seem to be able to do short names.

Yes I agree, festival of fantasy is well done. I know Disneyland always gets better parades but heck paint the night looks like it blows MSEP out of the water.

I really hope at least one of them changes if not both for the 50th.

Thanks. When I'm in a position (not mobile) I'll try and pull out specific ones. Basically it shows the demolition of Circle D and work around the rivers. I know they have more to do in Calif but I sure wish DHS was showing such visible signs. Seeing dirt and active bulldozers is always an exciting moment.

I don't want to see the demolition of Circle D. Probably be able to see some goats fleeing the bulldozers with their possessions on their backs in little hobo bags.


I'd be someone who would be very sad to see MSEP go, but I don't think I'd throw up a fuss about it. To be honest the best part for me is the retro, old school video game type music and I can hear that on the soundtrack.

We just saw Paint The Night in Disneyland. I commented to my wife that seeing that makes MSEP feel like an ancient artifact of a bygone era. My thinking is I bet they replace MSEP by the 50th.

I didn't know Toon Town was becoming scaffolding central. Hopefully the park will look really fresh by the time the summer season begins.

And hopefully we'll see more signs of construction at both DL and DHS in the following months. I do think they won't take nearly as much building Star Wars land as they did with Pandora.
