News re AP sponsorship/discount via post!

well i'll try that number and see what happens. thanks

Hello, Tracy here. Yes, when I was at the AP office, I specifically asked how it would be possible for someone who was interested in buying an AP to utilize the AP discount for hotel rooms after a few minutes of discussion of how it wasn't possible the CM came up with applying by post and gave me the forms which I sent on to Mulan. The forms are in French so I was not able to read through them to verify (yes, I am living in France and don't speak a word of French:confused3 ).
She gave me the sponsorship form to include as well. What I assume is that if I don't get the stamped sponsorship form back, if I have Mulan's card numbers they should be able to look it up in the computer system that I sponsored someone, so I didn't worry too much about that aspect.
I unfortunately don't know the answer to the other questions. Hopefully someone will be able to get the answer by calling.
Tracy

...and the AP guy couldn't speak English so he put me through to central reservations?! This guy obviously wasn't clued up on APs and he left me waiting a long time, bless him he was really nice though, but he put me on hold and must've called APB and asked for me, then he came back saying only residents in France are allowed to apply by post, which seems strange, I don't see why it would make such huge difference:confused3 postal cost perhaps.
Anyway, so unless I try calling again and perhaps speaking to someone else in my broken french, it looks like APs at the gate it is!
oh, darn, i was really hoping to get the free AP, never mind 10% off is better than 0%

Thanks for hoping along with me, if I do call again I'll let you know!
