I just checked MY calendar this morning and saw another celebration schedule change. MGM is now closing at 4:00PM on May 4th. We all knew about EPCOT closing at 3:00PM on May 5th, so this is new. So this will SURELY mean that the EMH at MK that night will be packed! Everyone back to their itineraries and start checking for any modifications. Not sure if this is on the calendar released to the public yet, but it is on the employee calendar right now!! I was fully expecting more changes so I'm not surprised.

Thanks for the heads up! I noticed this too earlier, it is on the public calendar. Luckily no changes for me this time I'll be at Kennedy that day.

I think they're doing a media event there, and I think the "50 Happiest Passholder" winners are doing something there, too. Did anyone see that Mike Scopa from Mouseplanet.com was one of the 50 winners? Very deserving.

Yes, May 4th is the grand openning of the stunt show and there is a press event that evening at MGM, which includes the 50 passholder winners plus their guest. No I didn't win, but did enter. I guess I will be part of the hoardes of guest at MK that night.

So, because the park is closing early do you think less people will visit?

I am wondering whether that might be a good day to go to MGM for the morning. Day visitors might not want to waste a day's ticket on a short day.

OR will it be mobbed for the time it is open?

What do you think?
