Newport bay pool

I have just read on a previous thread that the Newport bay pool is indefinately closed. I am very dissapointed as this was one of the reason we chose Newport bay. I tried to complain on the disney website and I have just recieved an email saying they may not get round to replying. Has anyone else had this problem?

The indoor pool was open on tuesday 2nd june...we were in there...do you mean the outdoor pool?

We're going in August and the reason we paid extra for this hotel was for the indoor and outdoor pool. They are shut now but I will be phoning tomorrow to find out whats happening.

On my booking conf it says open until 8.45pm when I phoned auto message saying open until 7.45pm. Hopefully just a misunderstanding on the phone, there is no message on the website about the pool being closed.

Thats good to know as we are there end July/beginning Aug and chose a hotel with a pool as we tend to break up the day with a swim on our summer trips

I have just recieved an email of Newport bay stating the closure dates, here it is;

"We kindly inform you that at the present time Newport Bay Club pool is opened. It will be closed for maintenance reasons from 16th November to 4th December 2009 (Closure dates may be modified or postponed without prior notice. The outdoor swimming pool will be open according to the weather conditions.).

We wish you a wonderful holiday at Disneyland Paris."

Thanks - it should be ok hopefully then when we go
