Newport Bay Club - Admiral's Floor

Please can anyone who has stayed at the NBC Admirals floor tell me what the breakfast arrangements are?
Are they the same as for the standard rooms? Do you still have to get a ticket for a specific time from reception when you book in or can you arrive when you want?

Regarding breakfast: It is all the same as if you would stay in a standard room. You have to take a time lot and you are in the same two restaurants as all other quests.
But there is one difference. For only 10€ extra (per room) you can have your breakfast delivered to your room. (Quests in standard rooms can't use this service)
We did this last year on the 1st November to avoid the crowds in the two restaurants and the breakfast in our room was great. You can see a picture of the breakfast in my October/November 2006 album here:

by the way: You can choose what you want to have for breakfast in your room.

Thanks for that info marcus.ka. I was hoping we would be able to go to breakfast when we wanted, but I guess we will just have to hope we are lucky and there are some decent times left when we arrive.

We stayed on the admiral's floor a couple of years ago in jan and were given the two options of picking a time slot for the main breakfast room or paying extra for it to be delivered. To be completely honest, of the 3 days we never actually made it in the right time slot (early twice and late once!) and they didn't seem to mind at all. Mayb if it was busier it would have been more important.

I adored our stay at the NPB, Admiral's Floor, can't help with the breakfast, we were lucky and surpirsed to be offered the VIP Captain's Quarters breakfast, sadly I haven't heard of anyone get this perk recently so I think they must have stopped it.
But as Marcus has mentioned you can have breakfast served in your room which was the reason I chose the Admiral's Floor, I had heard that breakfast times could be chaotic and thought this option would be a nicer start to the day.

Can't you see if you can requested the Captains Quarters breakfast. Its so easy you can go when you like and great selection of food so much nicer than queuing (hardly anyone in there).

If we go to the Newport Bay again I would ask(pay) to have this service again.

AFAIK you can't pay for this special breakfast. And you can't ask if you can have it for free because it is mainly for the suite quests. And sometimes they give this as kind of an upgrade to shareholders or guests who visit the hotel very often.
But if you prefer a quite breakfast you can pay the 10€ extra per Admirals Floor room and can have your breakfast at your room.
