Newly Gold - What will be different?

I am gold castaway after my last cruise and wondering what will be different. I already have 2 cruises booked. Do I get to book online stuff earlier than silver? I'll be booking a serenity bay cabana for one of the cruises. I think I read here that I will 10% off in the gift shops on board?

For future bookings, I think I'll get to book one day earlier than silver, correct? Are there any other benefits for booking in the future?

Yes you get to book excursions,palo etc at 105 days instead of 90. As long as you are pif.

You will also be invited to the Gold and Platinum Castaway Club party. They show a promo video, a lot of officers are there to chat with, there are refreshments and Mickey and/or Minnie show up for photo ops as well. And the Mickey Rice Krispie treats are pretty nice too.

The invitation will be placed in your cabin the day you arrive.

We had them a week ago on the Dream and all our previous cruises on the Fantasy had them as well.

So bummed for you ...They are one of our favorites. AND, there were a total of 10 people at the last party we attended so they gave out double RKT.

When we were silver we got a couple of dry erase boards in the bag...this was back in late 2013 and mid 2014 though. The last couple of cruises before we went gold were just the bag though. That would have been late 2014 and early 2015. They are really nice bags and I found a use for each and every one of them.

We are platinum, and our last cruise I got a Silver Castaway bag with nothing in it. I guess we'll see what what we get next week.

We cruised as gold in 2013 & 2014 and received the dry erase boards in the bags as well. In 2015 & 2016 there was a photo album instead. I actually liked the dry erase boards better.

I have the photo albums too, but I use the dry erase boards every day. The albums are still empty. lol
Last week, we got 2 nice DCL tumblers in the bag.
