First thank you for reading your PM and getting back to your thread to inform all your supporterswe may be names behind a screen but we do care. I'm sorry your dog has the problem with the ear but so glad you found out about it.most likely a big part of his problem, I know how I feel & act when I feel like crap...as far as the "rescue group" I'm sure the remark to make you feel as if the ear infection somehow is "your fault" was their way of fending off the possible return of the dog and your adoption fee. Stay strong, keep doing your best, and if you can post pics of your "fur babies" or want to I'm sure I speak for the other posters we would love to see them

I am sure the rescue was accusing me of causing the ear infection. It is very likely the dog came to me with it. It is a known problem in Aussies.
The vet , also, said that he is over weight and has very bad teeth. He may need to have a few extracted. I am waiting to make that appointment until we get things worked out here. But overall he is in good health. He has lost 2 lbs since we have had him . So, he is on the right track.
We are hopefully that being sick was making him so crabby. He may have been sore from all the activity , too. He could not even walk around the block when we first got him and he is now up to a mile. I would like to work him up to 4 miles, so he can walk with the other dog.
My DH took a very cute pic of him with my son on his iphone. I will see if he will download it for me when he gets home.
