He is ADORABLE. I had the cutest girl babies and you have the cutest boy baby I have seen (at least in a long time!!). Oh I can't wait to see him in person!!!!

Thanks for all the congratulations--we think Carter perfect too.

We are adjusting pretty well, I'm getting good at doing things one-handed. I don't think Hines is 100% thrilled with Carter, but he is dealing with it. I need to post more pics, he is starting to change even after only 6 days.

Mel--Yep, I got an epidural, I don't know if I am a wimp or what, but contractions were PAINFUL!!! The nurse told me it was because my water already broke, but I think she was just being nice.

This is so very exciting!! So will Carter be at Disney for the marathon? I am still on the fence whether I am participating in 2009 and this may push be over!!!

Mel--Yep, I got an epidural, I don't know if I am a wimp or what, but contractions were PAINFUL!!! The nurse told me it was because my water already broke, but I think she was just being nice.

You've run a marathon, so I really don't think you're a wimp. Contractions ARE painful! I thought I'd try to do it without an epidural, and lasted about 2.3 seconds after my water broke before I was begging for one.

Glad to hear that y'all are well! Yes, we want more pictures!!
