Well...I've got a cold, UGH!! I felt like crap this weekend and had a feeling I was getting one. Well..ya, I have a cold. None of the stuff I can take works for me...tylenol cold, nope. robitussin, whatever the one we can take (can't think of the letters, but I have it in my cabinet) nope doesn't work.

To top it off I have asthma, so it is really messing w/me...baby is huge and pressing on me, having trouble breathing with the cold/asthma. UGH!!

I go for my 28 week visit tomorrow, schedule my csection...see when next ultrasound will be to check Caleb's growth. I doubt I'll have another one before the routine 32 weeker (whichs is in 3 weeks, my visits are about a week behind).

You poor thing. I know exactly how you feel. None of the meds worked for me, so I gave up taking them and I have asthma too. The asthma makes me a little panic-y all of the sudden--I've had it my whole life and this is the first time I've ever been overly concerned about it. And my baby's still little!!

My asthma was always worse with pregnancy. If it starts bothering you really bad, drink hot tea or even hot water. Get in a hot shower with a lot of steam. Try some Vick's vapo-rub. That's all I can remember.

That's what got me through my cold/sinus infection/brochitis/ear infection/pink eye/cold sores---Vick's and really hot showers. The best was when I took a shower and then sat in the empty bathtub for an hour afterwords, just soaking in all the steam. That was awesome and surprisingly relaxing!

I just saw your post on the wrestling thread! I didn't post because I rarely watch anymore, but I did so love it back in the day! I loved Sting and Big Sexy, but I had it so bad for Goldberg that dh was jealous. He was also embarrassed-used to beg me not to tell anyone I liked wrestling!

My secret crush is Rey Mysterio. I actually got to touch him once at a house show in Cleveland. DH and I were in the front row and he got slammed into the railing right in front of me. I almost fainted! :faint

I love Sting too.

I only know anything about wrestling because of DH. There's no way I would've ever watched it without him, but he loves it!

Dh would watch, and I started watching with him. He just never dreamed I'd get into it! I remember when Goldberg left the 1st time, then they advertised he was coming back! I went wild!!!! Why I don't know! The steroid, tattoo covered man is not my normal type, but I loved this man!

Once, our AC went out and a guy from our church came to look at it, on a Monday night! Dh turned it off when he got there, and I immediately turned it back on! I wasn't embarrassed, and there was no way I was missing my Goldberg that night!

Thanks.....I plan on stealing my 2 year olds vicks plug in (it's by pedicare, I think) it's like a night light and it puts vicks smells in the air. I may have to take another shower before bed to clear myself out.

Everytime you guys talk about buying big ticket items it makes me cringe...I'm an obsessive planner and I can't buy stuff like that without thorough research...I probably should get busy now.

I got Dr. Sears' Baby Book out of the library and returned it the next day. Have any of you seen it? It's like 6000 pages!

I didn't know that, but I haven't watched much in the last few years. I'm always amazed that people think it is real . It is just a man soap-which explains why I got into it so easily. I grew up loving my soaps.

Piecey, I've got to get busy buying stuff. I only have 13 wks! I'm an hour from all the good stores, like Target and Babies R Us. They are near my dr's office, though. My appt is at 8:30 in the morning (I have to drink the orange stuff tomorrow), so maybe I'll have time to shop afterward.
