I had an ultrasound today to check Caleb's size....yes he's still a boy and this time I have a picture to prove to hubby.

He's measuring huge, no surprise here. Head like 30 - 30.5 weeks. Belly/arms/legs 31- 31.5 weeks. I guess they avg it all out and give a better idea of size. I'm 27 weeks 4 days, so he's huge. When I had my 24 week appt. OB got 26.5 weeks based on size...so ya, he's huge.

Oh well...2 year old is calling for me, refusing to eat. Hubby is out of town, the joys!

So will they maybe induce you early?

In comparison to some of the bellys on the June 09 thread on whattoexpect.com, I'm teeny for 24 weeks. He was big at the one ultrasound I went to, though.

yes...I'm a scheduled csection anyways. I'll schedule for the end of april when I go next week. We'll monitor how big he gets and if he gets too big, I'll have testing done to check lungs, etc. And go early if he's finished cooking. I'll already be scheduled about 10 days before my due date. But my youngest was 2 weeks before and he was 11 lbs.

I don't look that big...it's just how I carry babies.

I got the doppler in the mail yesterday and I found our little Acorn's heartbeat. I listened again today after work. Now I just hope I can find him every time or I will freak out! The nurse at my doctors office told me not to get it because it freaks people out when it is hard to find but hopefully I will find it and it will keep me calm.

We are going to go for a 4D ultrasound at just under 15 weeks and they claim we will be able to find out the sex then so I am so excited and hope that we can!

I got the doppler in the mail yesterday and I found our little Acorn's heartbeat. I listened again today after work. Now I just hope I can find him every time or I will freak out! The nurse at my doctors office told me not to get it because it freaks people out when it is hard to find but hopefully I will find it and it will keep me calm.

That's the tough thing w/the doppler....

Even everytime I go to the dr's I hold my breath until I can hear that little beat...even though he was just kicking the crap out of me. Doesn't matter.

Piecey-I will probably try and find a crib set at my sister's consignment sale in March. They usually have some really cute bedding sets and the price is right for me! I hear ya on the cheap part!! I am also gonna look and see if there are any of the doppler type machines at the consignment sale-I have seen people sell them before so hopefully this time there will be at least one.

Its definitely neat having some of ya'll on facebook-its cool seeing what we all look like! Sarah-my husband (Kevin) may be sending you a friend request too so he can have you on his mafia as well!

A friend of mine brought me some of her sons infant clothing the other day-its so exciting to get little clothes! SO cute!!!

I work at Home Depot and I have honestly spent half my shift standing in front of the paint samples trying to pick one I liked

I decided on green with envy from the Disney collection. I figure green is pretty gender neutral and the one I picked is not to light and not too dark.

Well when I got up this AM & went to the bathroom, there was blood. Not profuse enough to soak a pad or anything, but never a comforting sight for a pregnant woman. My doctor can't see me today til 3 PM, so I'll try to just take it easy & not freak out too much.

At my first internal exam the doc did note a cervical polyp, that while not dangerous, did make me more likely to experience bleeding. So I'm hoping that with increased blood flow because of pg, it's the polyp that's bleeding or some other benign source of blood, not a sign of bad things to come. Hold a good thought for me today, I can use it.

15 weeks? You're soo lucky! They're making me wait until 20 for our 4D so we're sure... and the blueberry might not even cooperate then

I loved having the doppler. So much so that I forgot to return it, ended up paying like $500 for it and now have one forever! I never had trouble finding his heart beat. Sometimes it took a bit longer but I always found it.

Why are you going so early? We did our 3D/4D at 28 or 30 weeks. At 15 the baby doesn't have much fat on him/her to look cute!! However I will be going as soon as possible, once I get pregnant with the next one, just to do a gender check!!!

Thanks!! Everyone thinks he looks like my DH more than me. I love hearing people think he looks like me. A lot of people think he is a walking copy of my younger brother!

Can I ask how much you all are paying for the 4D?

I did a 4D and paid $100, I wanted to find out the gender. I will ne going back at 28 weeks and it will be $59 plus $25 if I want a DVD. Not bad for a sneak peak.
