Time zones are so weird.

It's frozen over this morning. Outside tap at the stables isn't working. The poor pregnant mare is still out in the field with no rug. We broke the ice in the water trough for her and put some more hay down. I have yet to meet her owners, they only arrived yesterday and I can already tell that they're completely incompetent. I'm not accompanying that girl on hacks. I don't know why me and my friend should be responsible for that mare, but i'm sure as hell not letting her owners take responsibility.

I feel so sorry for her. It's one of those cases animal welfare societies always talk about. Inexperienced numpties buy pony for daughter for christmas, they get taken advantage of, pony turns out entirely unsuitable, they can't look after it, the daughter looses interest, pony gets neglected. Well the daughter hasn't seen it yet, as it's her christmas present. It's just, they obviously have no clue about horses and it's frustrating.

Man I wish it was hot. I slipped on ice this morning! xD
