My DH and I will be staying at the Disneyland Hotel concierge level July 12-15 and dont know whether to make PS at some restaurants now or just let the concierge do it when we get there. We are WDW veterans but have never been to DL and are very excited!!

Do the restaurants get so full that we should make then now- and what if I should make then now- what number do I call? Is it different than calling WDW dining?

Thanks

I would definintely book your PS. I am not sure if you guys are lookign at character meals or just fine dining but I would def book for character meals. We went during the off season and called about three weeks before we left and still had a hard time getting a table at Ariel's Grotto. I just booked our dinner meals yesterday for our trip in June.

For reservations you just call Disney Dining. The number is 1-714-781-3463.

How far in advance can the specific restaurants be booked?

Depends on what type dinning you enjoy/ want. We do a lot of counter / walk up service, so we dont bother making a bunch of PS. If you want sit down, full service meals, then yes book them. You can call Vacation planning since you are staying onsite. And if you get there and find there is something you want, the Conc. should be able to help you get in. On the flip side, if you make PS, and decide you are having fun and dont want to bother going to the meal, then dont worry about it! You dont pay unless you show up, so you are out NOTHING if you dont make it to your PS.

60 days in advance. Expect the seating/ dessert for Fantasmic, it is 30 days (actually not 30 days, but one month).

We just got back from DH hotel too. It is great and the Conc. Lounge is great and a huge help to starting your day and for snacks for the rest. I would say to make the reservations for sure. I always book and then if I need to change or cancel it is never a problem. Better to be safe then sorry! Have fun!
