Newbie with the Reservation System

It's been several years since I've been to WDW. I have reservations for several places...but honestly wish some were earlier or later. What do you suggest I do? And BoG is never available!....

Keep trying. If you are persistent you can almost always get what you want. Especially closer to your trip. And by persistent, I mean checking several times a day. Its a pain, but worth it if its important to you. Some are harder to get than others. I finally JUST got the chefs table at Victoria and Alberts this time. This was after trying for the last 4 trips.

Do you check a specific time or the 'lunch' 'dinner' option? And do you always check the same day?....I will be persistent as you say! Thank you!

'Lunch' or 'dinner'. I checked several times a day, but I work from home on a computer so it was easy to check a lot.

Keep trying? We got a BOG lunch ADR about 60 days out. We were checking every few days, there was nothing, then all of a sudden there was availability. Supposedly Disney holds back some ADRs and releases them when they feel like it? Try looking on different days of your trip. Try specifying a time instead of just "lunch" or "dinner", I've seen people report getting different results. I've seen people report getting different results on iPad app vs desktop website. If you already have a time, but want earlier, try calling on the phone, I've had experience with phone CM able to add people or change time when nothing available on the app.

Yes, keep checking! Something will eventually pop up! People change plans and cancel all the time. Also, there are dining cancellation threads for each month in the Dining Reservation subforum! That has helped so many people get the adr and time they were hopeful for, but weren't able to get when making adrs. Good luck!

I agree with all the others. We would start out with late reservations, but we would just keep checking early morning and late evening every day and we were able to get our reservations for most places at times that we wanted. You just have to keep searching and checking. It should work if you keep after it. Good luck.
