I have to ask this for my own sanity. FL residents can buy the Park Hopper passed(4 day) I think for $109. Could you have a friend that lives in FL buy these and send them to you or do you have to show Fl Id to us the tickets. Hope this is ok to ask.

You are supposed to have florida ID to purchase--the names of the individuals is printed on the tix. They do not always check at the gate--but if they id you at the gate, you won't match the name on the ticket let alone be a FLA resident--that is the risk.

I know it is tough that Disney charges so much money--so IMHO, to save my future floridian savings--it would be my preference for you to not do that.

You will see lots of postings though where people have done it with no problem.

I know alot of people will tell you they have done this and there was no problem. We were at Disney last Monday. When I went to use my ticket for some reason it would not register, ( I am a florida resident) and I had to show them my Fl drivers liscense.

I personally would not take the chance. To me it is not worth the embrassing situtation of being turned away it would cause. I know it seems like alot of money to go into the parks, but truthfully where else can you go and see and do as much as you can (live parades, live shows, rides, ect) at Disney or other parks. Alot of place you pay to get in and then you have to pay for rides and it really adds up to more than you spend getting into Disney.

I agree with everyone else. I can not tell you the number of times we have had a pass not scan. We have annual passes, and have many times had to show ID in order to get passes exchanged. You just never know when your pass is going to not work, and having it taken away from you because you are using it illegally just isn't worth the risk. Besides, Disney is worth what you are paying, and I am okay with paying much more for my annual pass just because I live out of state. It just gives me more reasons to visit more often!

Thanks for the replies! I had not planned on doing it but did see that price on the board and it looked almost to good. We have best friends that moved to Orlando. I will probably buy the tickets by the day anyway. Not sure how a 6 an 1.5 yera old can handle hopping to so many parks. Thanks so much

Keep in mind the park hopper is good for another value:

It never expires--and it cost less per use than does buying tix individually.
