Newbie - with a question ....

I am fairly new to DVC and still one question that I could not see that has been asked already.

My husband and I has just signed up to AKV end of last month. We have just recieved documentation that our finance was approved, etc. We would like to buy more points already, we haven't called DVC yet as I wanted to get all the information from here.

If we buy more points do we have to finance it through another loan or can they just include it in the one we already have??

Has anyone done this so close to signing up??

If you have not signed the papers yet, call your guide and ask him/her if you can rewrite your contract at the higher points level.

Unfortunately we have already signed all papers. So we can't do this. Actually we signed the papers on the spot after we saw AKV we were so impressed.

I believe you will have to do another loan. Disney will only finance an add on if you buy a minimum amount of points.

You will need to buy at least 50 points for them to finance and although it would be a seperate loan you are already approved and would or could be drawn for your account at the same time as the other so it would be as one payment could as you have a choice between the 1st of the month or the 15th.... dues work the same if not paid upfront.
