Newbie visiting wdw in Aug

Hi! I'm new and my family will be taking our 2nd WDW trip in August. This has been both exciting and stressful for me. Exciting because I can't wait to return. Stressful, because I am planning whereas my in-laws planned last year and I did not have to do anything but be there! I'm looking forward to reading tips and ideas from everyone else! It'll be my husband, my three kids, and me.

Hi and Welcome to the boards!! Don't stress, you've been before so think of it as how much fun you will have making the plans and playing travel agent.

Dont be stressed. Believe me that happened to me before. My parents were paying for me before but I have had to di it the 2nd time I was there and I have been there 9 years. So anyways what I would suggest is to make sure the night before that everything is ready. If you have an AAA card you can get a 10% off discount on your Disney ressie. If you have any request such as bunk beds, no bedspreads, extra pillows or connecting rooms make sure to call Disney resservation office to input those requests. If you have young children, connecting rooms are standard. I would also suggest to purchase your tickets with your room resservation since there are discounts if you combine the room with the tickets. Also if you will be dining in Disney you will want to resserve a dining package which will save you a ton of money in the long run. Have a great trip

Choose the resort you want to stay at
Choose the type of park tickets you would like
Watch for flights
Make any ADRs (180 days before your trip)
Schedule ME if you will not be renting a car

Watch for package deals to come out as we get a little closer to August.
