Hi All!

I've never been over here before, but there is a very good chance that we will be visiting Disneyland Paris next September. Well only be able to stay 2 nights, and about 1 1/2 days at the park.

I know absolutely nothing about DLP.

Where should I start?

Any suggestions, help, guidance would be really appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi Yzma and Kronk and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, posting guidelines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

You have came to the right place for a start :)

Have you decided whether you are staying on-site or off-site? Have a look at the Hotel FAQ to see what is on offer :)

Thanks everyone for the nice welcome!

Cyrano - I think we are staying on site. Is that better? I'm a real on-site person in Florida, so would this apply at DLP?

toony - thanks for the links - I'll start there!

sarahc - I love reading TR's too!

Once I get a little more information, I'm sure I'll have lots of questions.

Thanks again!

While off-site offers great value it in know way replaces the Disney magic IMHO :)

We stayed at Newport Bay expecting it to be like The Yacht Club and it wasn't. We were really impressed with the Holiday Inn just across the way from DLP, and as you can see from my sig, I am an on-siter at WDW and DL. We're looking into a new trip to DLP in January, and will likely stay at the Holiday Inn again rather than one of the on site resorts.
We were at DLP over Easter weekend, and it was very busy. We ate a bunch of TS restaurants, and were pretty impressed with the food. We're creme brulee junkees, and DLP is definitely plentiful on that! You'll also find that some attractions will make you feel like you're back in Florida, and then there will be others that are so incredibly different! My biggest disappointment was that there weren't CMs taking pictures as you walked down Main St. :( I wonder if that's changed..... :confused3

Unfortunately not :sad2: Can't understand why they don't do it, especially seeing as the castle is so beautiful.

My fave photos of WDW are our ones with each park icon in. :)

That's cos they have a great big pumpkin in the middle of mainstreet in front of the castle

Yes, I know it wouldn't look so good now :rotfl: :rotfl: but the rest of the year it could be done. We have taken our own photos of us in Main Street with the castle in the background but it's not the same as having an official one.
