Newbie to renting points...need guidance!

Not sure where is the best place to ask my questions or if it's OK to ask about the DVC rental companies by name? I've never rented before and want to use a company, but unsure of which is the best one to use? Also need advice on which might be a good resort for a girls trip with 5 or 6 women? Any help appreciated! Thank you!

You can, but you are supposed to include the website address. If the address is replaced with stars (****) then either the site or Disboards has asked not to share the link to that site. Could mean a lot of things, Disboards doesn't usually reveal why a site is blocked, but probably best to talk about other options.

David's Vacation Club Rentals (https://www.dvcrequest.com/dvc-rentals.asp) advertises on the site and I have worked with them on the DVC Owner side. I have nothing bad to say about them, but haven't been a renter so take that as you will.

I have also used David’s vacation club rentals, had four different families that rented some of my points. I have note received any complaints from the renters. Had no trouble setting up reservations. You may be able to rent points straight from a dvc member at a lower rate, but if you ran into problems then you may have trouble clearing it up, or may get caught up in a scam situation. If I was not a owner and wanted to rent points I would use David’s.

We`ve used Davids a few times with no problems. We have also rented numerous times through owners on Disboards but only through owners that have been on the boards for a few years and are active on the boards.
