I'm new to FW but not to a WDW vacation. I'm thinking a FW cabin(DH is not crazy about about driving a trailer/camping so that choice is out)would fit the bill for this trip. We are looking for a more relaxed Disney trip with things to do but less park time so am i correct in thinking the cabins would be a good pick? So now i have a few questions.

How bad are the bugs in the first part of Dec?

If my cabins not ready do they have a fridge to store food like the DVC resorts do?

Can i send a box from home like i do when we stay at the resorts?

What is the latest i can book and still get a cabin? Can i wait for a code to come out or should i book early then ask for the code when it comes out?

Thanks for your help and fill free to sharing any other idea that i might not have thought of. It just blows DH's mind that i can already make resv. for HDD and the trip were planning is for 2006. Should i book this now or can i wait a little longer?

Can i send a box from home like i do when we stay at the resorts? Believe this is possible also.

Cabins are great but the DVC 1 Bedroom is even nicer. The atmosphere at FW is still the most relaxing.
