Newbie to DL--Park Hours

This question is for all the Disney Veterans who live for Disneyland.

I've never been to DL only WDW. DH and I are planning on going between Nov 30th and Dec 4th this year. According to the Disney rep that I spoke with today, she stated that she couldn't remember but she thought DisneyLand closed around 8PM during the first part of December and that Disney's California closed around 6PM and that the late hours of operation wouldn't come in to effect until the kids were out of school. Does anyone have any idea what time they will be closing?? I would love to see the Electric parade which she mentioned earlier today during our conversation but she didn't think it would be going on that early unless it was on a weekend. Does anyone know about this also??

Past years hours/entertainment schedule can be found at laughingplace.com
I remember last year that the electric parade was dark for refurb, but I do not know the exact time frame. So if you do not see it on last years schedule do some more research to find out if it was dark to to time of year or refurb

To the OP, the Electrical Parade is seasonal.

Yeah the Electrical Parade is seasonal, but if it just so happens to be playing during the time you want to go on your trip, chances are it will be off season still where the DL park closes at 8 and DCA closes at 6. So if the parade was playing then yeah it would play only on a weekend (Friday-Sunday).

Electrical Parade will not be running. It only runs during the summer and during Christmas/New Year's break.

The park will close early on weekdays, but it is always open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as most Sundays, year-round.

If I were you, I'd move my trip to Dec 2-6. That way you'll have three midnight closings and be able to catch the fireworks and Fantasmic!, both of which run Friday-Sunday only during that time of the year.

Keep in mind that moving your trip to the 2-6 will likely place you there during the usual time they hold the Candlelight Processional. I love the Candlelight Processional, but it does make Disneyland itself extremely crowded and alters the normal schedule for that weekend.
