Newbie to DCL

Just booked my first Disney Cruise..it will be my third overall. I've cruised on Royal Caribbean and Norwegian so far. This one will be a 3 day Bahamas cruise on The Disney Dream in early November.

Any tips for a newbie? Do we have to book transportation to the ship or do they have something like ME in place? (the ship leaves out of Port Canaveral)

I'm excited..always wanted to try DCL but the prices always scared me away. I finally decided to try it.

You can add the DCL bus (from the airport or Disney hotel) to your reservation. It costs $35 per person each way. Depending on how many in your party a private transfer could be less expensive.

I would also suggest finding your cruise meet group. It's always fun to chat with others on the same cruise. Have fun!

We use FL Tours to transfer to/from the port. Typically cheaper than the $210 RT for the 3 of us via Disney.
