Sugar free jello, definately..also, the atkins endulgence vanilla and chocolate ice cream (unless you follow his recipes to make your own).
The atkins breakfast bars (2 carbs each)...all 4 flavors are wonderful...and they make a nice change from eggs/meat every morning...especially if you are running late and didn't prepare the night before.
Atkins wants you to have no nitrate bacon...we found the best applewood smoked, no nitrate bacon at whole foods market...wonderful, wonderful.
We love to mix the sugar free jello...with one cup of boiling water like you normall make it...then one cup of cold diet snapple drink and let chill to set up...this make a great dessert.
like...the raspberry with the raspberry snapple
also...for those of you who like beer...the michelob ultra only has something like 2.9 carbs per beer...it is a nice treat when you have been working so hard.
Hubby and I have been doing this for about a month not (couple weeks of off). We have both lost a little over 20 pounds each.
The weight seems to melt right off.
Oh, and the best thing to keep in the house...pork rinds!!!!
The best lo-carb cook book we have found is...How to eat yourself thin like I did...a nurse who followed the atkins plan wrote it...the recipes are simple and delicious.
