Newbie to 5K here!!!

Hi all!
I am very much interested in participating in a 5k at WDW to get me started. I don't even care if the next 5K isn't scheduled until 2015!! but I want in!! Where do I find info about when they are, how to register, fees, etc? I googled it, but SO much info popped up that I freaked! There has to be a simpler way to get the info I need. Can anyone point me in the right direction and get me started? THANKS!!!!!

Thank you Maura! I actually found disneyrunning.com after making that post. I saw pics of an Animal Kingdom 'family 5k' -- so it must be either running OR walking...?? or both?? I'll definately checkout the other website under endurance. Thank you for the info!

I, too, decided a few weeks ago that I wanted to run a 5k at Disney and signed up for the Royal Family 5k during the Princess 1/2 Marathon Weekend. (I live in the area, so I didn't have to worry about travel arrangements.)

I get the feeling that Disney is a good place to start my running career. I think they make things fun and not intimidating for first time runners.
