We are thinking of Universal this June...5 of us:
2adt/3 children. Where is the best place to purchase - direct or TA? We might stay 5-7 days, with a trip to Sea World in here somewhere.

Any thoughts?

thanks!!

I normally go directly to the Universal website: http://www.universalorlando.com/tickets.html

You do get some kind of discount guide with an online purchase nowadays. I wonder how good that is? I like the unlimited pass for 7 days but we normally spend four days in the parks.

No question.. buy direct from Universal. The rates are the same or cheaper than you can find elsewhere. UniversalOrlando.com has the same $100 ticket that the person above posted about.

The perks of buying direct though, is that if the ticket is lost it can be easily replaced by Guest Services; not always the case with 3rd party tickets. Also, you have peace of mind that the ticket you have will work and not have any issues with it being previously used/invalid/expired etc.

I end up saving about $8 per ticket as they don't add tax to them. The US site adds tax to theirs.
