newbie scrapper layouts

I just put together some photos from our recent cruise. I started off thinking 12x12 but I just didn't take that many "good" pictures, so I decided to pare down to 8x8 and have less filler.

Sometimes when you don't have many good pics it's a good idea to "specialize" just one or two on a smaller page. I think your layouts look great!!

Holy cow. Your layouts look pretty darn good for a "newbie". I just need to get hit by the creative truck. I never seen to be able to come up with ideas.

Honestly, this is my first album! I have been collecting scrapping stuff for years, ever since my friend was a CM consultant, but I haven't ever sat down and actually done it. I was inspired by my recent trip and decided to just go for it! I'm not really into lots of embellishments or fancy layouts. I'm pretty happy with some cardstock and stickers I just want to get in the groove!
