Hi! I recently found this board and have been learning a lot -- THANKS! I do have a few ?'s though that I haven't been able to find answers to.

We are going to WDW the later half of October -- I know this is really short planning compared to most of you :goodvibes -- but I'm wondering if it is worth it to pay for the touring plans I've read about in the book the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World 2008?

Going are myself, my husband, and our 2 sons -- 10 & 4. We did opt for the basic dining package when we booked our vacation from a travel agent & I know I really need to try to see if I can find some good ADR to maximize this plan. I'm sure this will be tough to do since I have waited this long, but I'd like to try.

I guess I'm looking for opinions on if I should see what days I'm able to book ADR's and then work in going to that park for the day OR if I should decide which days we will attend each park first and then see what reservations are available.

Any help is appreciated :)

At this point I think you need to plan your ADR's first and then work around that. Pickings at this late date could be slim, which is the reason I say go for the ADR's first. As far as the touring plans, I personally never used any and we seem to have a good strategy when we go, plus I hate planning every moment of my day. I have heard people rave about the different touring plans that are out there, so I don't think getting one can hurt. ;)

Thanks for the reply *KeepMovingForward*! I took your advice with a bit of a twist. I first figured out which days we would go to which park and then called yesterday to schedule our ADR's. I'm happy to say I was able to schedule every TS place my family wanted to try

We will be dining at:

Whispering Cayon
Donald's Safari Breakfast
Boma's
Chef Mickey's
Corral Reef
Crystal Palace
Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic dinner package

I'm so excited!!

Metro West -- Thanks for the welcome :goodvibes
