Please bear with me on this, I am new to cruising (Yay!!) and have a few questions about it...We will be crusing December 1st to the 5th on the Wonder...I am so excited as I never thought I would be able to say that! LOL

Okay, first what kind of entertainment do they have on the ship? Like for adults? Also, how is a category 7 as far as space goes? Is it really tiny for 3 people? When you get to the ship, where do you park your car? Do you pay to park it??

Thanks so much for all the help!!

There are plenty of things for adults to do on board. There are several "adults only" areas that DCL really does well in enforcing. There are three different night clubs, an ESPN sports bar, and several bars on deck. There are daily activities such as wine tasting, Disney's Art of Entertaining series, and a series on the building and running of the ships. We are a childless couple and have sailed with Disney several times.

As to the Category 7 room, I think it will be fine for three adutls. Maybe a bit crowded, but by no means unbearable. We usually stay in Cat. 7 and there's more than enough room for two.

There is a parking lot right near the pier. I believe the charge is $8/day, but that may have changed recently. I know it has gone from $7 to $8 since I first cruised on DCL in 2000. I believe that you must pay in cash. I've never actually parked there, since I've always flown in and taken the Disney buses, but I'm sure if I'm wrong about this, someone else on the board will have the correct info.

We cruised on the Magic during the first week of December last year and had great weather.

I think the parking lot may have gone to a flat "per cruise" rate based on the number of days in your cruise -- not sure where I saw that (sorry).

Beanie - are you driving from NH? You are a brave soul. I wouldn't get past DC.

mcnuss...we drive *at least* once each year, but this trip, we are not...we are flying since DH has to work Saturday Night and we would have to be in Florida Sunday afternoon....

Thanks for the information...I appreciate it!!! :)
