Newbie questions

We are planning our first trip to Florida in the coming months, and am considering the HRH, especially for the FOTL perks. My questions are this..

We are only wanting to spend one night at HRH since we will be spending 3 weeks in and around Florida. Anyways, how does the FOTL access work for only one day. Say we check in at check in time (4 or whatever it is) on Monday, and check out at check out time on Tuesday, when do we get to use FOTL access?? Monday check in until tuesday check out only?? Or all day Tuesday?? Or Monday check in until closing Tuesday??

And are there any perks other than the FOTL that I should be looking for?

Even thought you cannot check in until 3 or 4 - you can show up and they will give you your room keys - aka your FOTL. You can use them all day on the day you check in AND all day on the day you check out.

We normally show up first thing - knowing our room is not ready. They will normally store your bags and give you your keys. No need to wait until check in time.

Another potential perk is club level. You can stay on club level which gives you access to the cub room. The offer complimentary softdrinks and water all day. You also get a continental type breakfast, a happy hour, and a desert offering in the club room at certain times. Club room access also gives you a discount if you are going to rent a cabana. Some people feel it is worth the extra to stay on the club level.

You might also want to check and see the days for the dive in movie at hard rock and stay on that night. I have heard of people renting the cabana and being able to watch the dive in movie from it at night.

You can show up at the hotel first thing in the morning anc check in. Your room may not be ready, but they will give you a room key to use for your Express access to all attractions. Then even after you check out, you keep your room key and have express all that day to. So, if you stay one night,you get two FULL days of unlimited express.
