I usually book my full vacation through the disney website, lodging, air, hopper tickets, and dining. I have read about contacting DVC member services for booking your points, but does DVC also have the ability to book online, search available rooms, add airfare, tickets, and dining so you can use a Disney VISA and get the 6 months to pay?

Thanks, we have just signed our contract for purchasing at SSR so I still have lots of questions.:goodvibes

There is no online search or reservations. You can make an online request to Member Services, but usually phoning will be quicker. It may take a day or two for them to get back to you via e-mail.

DVC doesn't sell any tickets, but you can order APs through the DVC website. These would be separate from your reservation. No airfare anymore through DVC.

If you want the DDP, you pay for it when you check in.

You can't purchase a package through DVC, only through CRO or a travel agent and you would not be able to make a points reservation through CRO or a TA.

I believe member services can book airfare and car rentals. I've always done mine direct through the airline and car rental. I don't think you can get the Visa deal.

I thought they recently discontinued that service.

Sorry to say, as the pp's have, it's not that way anymore once you are DVC - no more one-stop shopping when it coming to booking your vacation. Member Services will handle your room ressie, can add the DDP and ME info for you - but the rest is pretty much on your own. You can use your membership to get a discounted AP, but not to get regular tickets. If you don't want an AP, there are several discounted ticket options out there (i.e. Undercover Tourist, etc) where you can get the regular MYW tickets. You can still use your Disney Visa to buy those things, but I don't believe individually they would qualify for the 6 mos no interest deal. It's just another one of the differences between DVC and non-DVC travel.
