Hello! We're planning our trip for Oct 2026. I see that the reservations opened today, but on the US side of things I can only book through the spring. Also, we've just started planning and don't have a lot of great decisions made yet.

Is it critical enough for me to book today that I should figure out a work around (VPN?) or can I wait and book later on? If I do wait, when is a good time to book 1 year out? 6 months out?

I've been following the same for a May/June 2026 trip.

According to the group, US reservations for April 2026 and beyond will open on September 9th. Per Karin, you should still be able to book what you want. I have it marked on my calendar for next week.

As someone mentioned in another thread you can book now on the UK website. They do bookings one week ahead. We booked our pacakage through them.

I also booked through the uk site as an American. I recall reading a while back in Disney tourist blog it was possible to book through any country’s website and they sometimes there are different deals available. At the time I thought, yeah right I would never do that. Proved myself wrong!

Just an FYI the webite wont allow you to book resturants yet but if you call you can make them over the phone. My cell phone provider, T mobile, was nice enough to give me a free international pass for the day since we are a very long term customer. Great service. Now we are allset other than booking guaranteed seating which wont come out until about two months before our arraival.

Is this just for UK bookings or will this still be the case next week when it opens for everyone else?

Reservations are open as soon as you make your hotel booking. It just thay they are having issues with dining on line. Once you make your hotel reservation you can call. I made my reservation throught the UK site last week. Also someoneone mentioned in a thread that compare the UK price to the US price since it appears from them that the US price is typically higher.

Thanks.

We aren't big foodies and the restaurants at DLP aren't great anyway, but I figured I'd try 1 or 2 new ones this time.

In the past, I found the best price was in Euros and the worst in pounds. I usually booked from the French site to get Euros. I'll do the math on Tuesday. We are going to try the Disneyland Hotel. It was still closed last trip. My son and his friend are going and they are still trying to justify staying at Marvel or going cheap at Sequoia or Cheyenne.
