I know a fair amount about WDW hotels, but nothing about US hotels, so please bear with my newbie question :flower3:

If we book ONE night at one of the on-site hotels, we get two days of Express Passes and early admission, right? So, for this scenario:

Portofino night booked for August 12
We could check into the hotel at 8am on August 12, use the Express Passes for that day (August 12) immediately after check-in and then check out the next morning and still use the Express Passes for that day (August 13), including the early admission to TWWOHP on that morning? Assumedly, we'd do the early admission first, then go back late morning to the hotel to check out and then we'd return to the park.

Is that correct?

Thanks!

You are correct...one night onsite equals two days of Express and early entry.

when you check out, you can leave your luggage with valet and pick it up after you leave the park on that second day.

i usually take night flights at the end of my vacation and have my luggage held until i leave the park.

get my luggage, then wait for my car service at the hotel on that evening.

Q: I realize check-in does not begin until 4:00 PM, but I wanted to use the Universal ExpressSM Unlimited pass to skip the regular lines before that.

A: Please arrive as early as you like the day of check-in and our front desk agent will be happy to pre-register you and assist you with your Universal ExpressSM Unlimited pass. The bellman will hold your luggage while you enjoy the parks.

Q: What days is the FREE Universal ExpressSM Unlimited pass that serve as Express Access to skip the regular lines valid throughout my stay?

A: Your Universal ExpressSM Unlimited pass is valid for Express Access (at participating attractions) from the time issued by the front desk until the Universal Orlando theme parks close, the day of your departure.

Assumedly, we'd do the early admission first, then go back late morning to the hotel to check out and then we'd return to the park.

Just get your stuff packed early, leave it with the Bell people (they'll come get it from your room), do the checkout process, and head to the parks! No need to come back until you're ready to go or unless you want to swim. :)

in all my stays onsite when it comes to check out, i have never had the valet come to my room to remove my luggage while i was not there.

i take it to valet myself as a claim ticket is needed in order to check it out later when you depart from the hotel.
i do this early morning so i do not have to return to the hotel later that day to take care of it.
